### The
# Manticore's Shadow
>[!quote|gloss]
>An eclectic franchise of magical stores with an even more eclectic show of employees.
>[!card] About
>You’d be hard pressed to find a store in a normal location. While there are ‘superstores’ in many of the cities of Lavitra, you’d find even more stores out in the wildernesses of the world. There’re stores built into the walls of mountains, in the middle of lakes, at the end of a long jetty leading into the seas. The Beltari’s chose these locations to be better accessible to adventurers who may avoid larger cities for whatever reasons.
>
>A lot of the items sold are enchanted in-store, each store having a minimum of three in house enchanters, with the larger stores having more. They do buy items off of adventurers, though normally at a discounted price, and have them be re-enchanted/touched up before being sold again.
