Orks are generally taller and more physically robust than humans. They usually have skin of varying metallic colors ranging the spectrum of patina (such as iron, bronze, and silver), white or black hair, pointed ears, and vivid eyes with colors like violet, red, silver, or yellow, and faces of porcine appearance that featured large lower canines similar to a boar's tusks. They also had wolf-like ears that were pointed on the ends. orks were roughly the same size as humans and similar humanoids, though usually typically larger. > >It was not uncommon for some orks to have horns protrude from the forehead, and there is a general misconception amongst other races that the horns and canine teeth of ogres contain their strength, and removing these horns and teeth make them weak. For this reason, there are many ogres who have intentionally removed their horns and canines in order to integrate and live with other races. Otherwise, Culturally, orks associate not having horns with being imposing or scary. > >The horns itself has no nerve endings and can be removed; however, they can still become irritated. > >Orks have poor temperaments and were given to anger more easily than some races. Easily offended and impatient, Orks generally preferred violent solutions and rarely considered multiple ways of approaching a problem. However, in spite of this, many Orks were excellent at getting results, since they were creatures of action, not thought. >[!cite|no-title] >### Behaviour >Traditional orkish culture was extremely warlike and when not at war they were usually planning for it. Most orks approached life with the belief that to survive, one had to subjugate potential enemies and control as many resources as possible, which put them naturally at odds with other races as well as each other. > >Most orks were part of a confederation of tribes, loosely held together by a despotic chieftain. Bands within these alliances might wander far from their homelands, but continued to greet those orks who belonging to the same tribal network as kin. > >Most orks didn't build cities of their own, instead leaving themselves to wander the seas in large, city like-ships called dreadnoughts. It's said that they originate from an unknown eastern land across the Sapphire Sea. Some scholars theorize that the orks come from the supposed eastern continent. They once threatened to conquer all of the known world, but after several attempts sieges on the Gathil shore front, led to a large decrease in orkish numbers. Since then, peace has been made with every nation except for Korokov; with whom they are still involved in a prolonged war for dominance of the north. > >Orks excel above and beyond in warrior roles. Their natural abilities fall under the warrior banner with the exception to enchanting, but this isn't outside of the realm of the warrior and is a trait commonly used by the wives of chieftains.
